Environmental Programs and References
The
environmental staff is responsible for inspections of
restaurants, grocery stores,
vending
machines, motels, mobile home and recreational vehicle
parks, schools, septic tank
installations, septic tank cleaning vehicles, consumer
products and private water testing.
There are
also programs conducted in rabies control, nuisance
control, swimming areas,
and emergency
disaster services. In addition to these services, the
environmentalists
also work in
cooperation with State and Federal agencies in programs
pertaining to EPA
activities
and responsibilities.
