Clay and Crum Promote Video Series on KET’s Kentucky Health

‚ÄčThe Greenup County Health Department’s video series County Wise Wellness will be featured in an upcoming episode of Kentucky Health on KET. Kentucky Health is hosted by Dr. Wayne Tuckson, MD, a colorectal surgeon in Louisville. The show seeks to improve health through education and increased awareness.

Episode #1305 is titled “Going Outside to Improve Your Insides” and features Greenup County Health Department Director Chris Crum, as well as local media personality, Tom Clay.

According to Crum, “The only way to make our next generation healthier and live longer is to get them more physically active and eating healthier. No magic pill is going to solve the problem. This health education series was designed to showcase easily accessible, safe ways to be active in Greenup County.”

Clay, who has long been a champion of the natural resources of Greenup County, said, “It takes little to no money to enjoy recreational opportunities here in our area and it can improve your health at the same time. That’s a win-win for everyone.”

“Going Outside to Improve Your Insides” on Kentucky Health is scheduled to air on KET Sunday, October 8 at 11:30 am and again on Tuesday, October 10 at 5:00 am. For additional air dates and times of Kentucky Health, visit their website at www.ket.org\series\KKHEA\ .
